The House of Rémy Martin opened a 108sq m boutique at cdf Haikou International Duty Free Shopping Complex in Hainan on 13 January, marking a key milestone in the brand’s retail journey.
The boutique is designed to broaden and enrich the Rémy Martin shopping experience in Hainan, immersing clients in the story of the House. By investing this new space in the world’s largest duty free shopping complex, Rémy Martin said it invites consumers to explore its different facets and take their Cognac journey to new heights.

An immersive voyage into the heart of Cognac
The heritage of the house is brought to life within the boutique created by Rémy Martin’s international retail design team. It features interactive displays and discovery areas, including wall bays with aromatic scents for nosing, and an innovative tasting bar with a food pairing wheel.
Customers purchasing Rémy Martin XO can have the bottle engraved with a tailor-made message to friends and loved ones. The boutique also features a virtual reality space to discover Rémy Martin XO and a private ‘Eternity Room’ lounge offering bespoke LOUIS XIII experiences.
The store offers a compelling sensorial impact based on journey that balances the digital and the physical. From the moment clients pass through the doors to the time of purchase, they are fully immersed in the nature of the Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne crus in the heart of the Cognac region.
The boutique conveys three centuries of craftmanship passed on by generations of winegrowers, distillers, coopers and cellar masters, and presents the aromas and sensations of Rémy Martin’s Cognacs.

The Rémy Martin boutique, described by the brand as “rich and engaging, illuminating and exceptional”, is designed to push the boundaries with an experiential retail adventure that reveals all the nuances of the terroir. As part of their experience, clients are invited to go beyond Rémy Martin’s Cognacs Fine Champagne range to discover the luxury Louis XIII Cognac Grande Champagne, one of the world’s most exclusive and prestigious spirits.
