Host’s welcome
A warm welcome to Singapore on behalf of Changi Airport Group (CAG).
CAG is honoured to host The Trinity Forum as it makes its comeback after a three-year hiatus, uniting airport operators, travel retailers and brand partners as we equip ourselves to tackle the big issues facing global travel retail today. Aviation and travel retail have been through a trying few years weathering the pandemic, but with disruption comes new opportunities for innovation and growth.
With travel showing strong signs of recovery the world over, I am confident that 2023 will be a brighter year for all of us. Changi Airport is now at more than 60% of pre-pandemic traffic levels and all four of our terminals have re-opened to welcome even more passengers.
Lim Peck Hoon
Executive Vice President, Commercial Changi Airport Group
With our travel retail scene regaining its pre-pandemic momentum, we’re excited to see what the year-end travel peak and the coming year holds for us and our partners.
Our strong partnerships within the Trinity were key in seeing us through the tough times and I trust that this forum will provide all of us with more precious opportunities to form new bonds or fortify existing ones, learn from each other, and pick up best practices for our respective areas of influence.
May we all emerge from the next few days with a renewed fervor for airport retail, inspired to make an impact in the next stage of our industry’s evolution.
Wishing everyone a fulfilling time at The Trinity Forum and a most pleasant stay in Singapore.
