Belgian skincare brand Self believes that “selfness is the new wellness”. Its pledge is to offer products which are 100% natural, nontoxic, vegan and Halal certified that target every skin type, even the most sensitive and problematic. Self was developed by Isabelle Ulenaers after searching for a product which could provide nourishment and protection for her daughter’s skin, as well as her own. She believes that natural ingredients, including botanicals, can be just as effective or more effective than conventional formulas . Her products have helped in the treatment of eczema, psoriasis, acne and dry skin.
