The new serum is the latest addition to the L’Oréal Paris’s Age Perfect line and boosts the youth-enhancing power of the skin’s mother cells during its peak night-time regeneration period.
The luxury formula is powered by L’Oréal Paris’s Antioxidant Recovery Complex, including USA patented NeoHesperidin, which protects skin cell turnover in order to refirm the skin, banish wrinkles and reduce fine lines. It comes with a sensorial texture and light floral scent and is made with no parabens or mineral oils.

Mother Cells can be found in the lowest layer of the epidermis. These regenerative cells are constantly dividing and producing new cells, which migrate to the skin’s top layer. Mother cells’ division is at its peak after midnight when skin renewal is at its most effective. However, this natural anti-aging process slows down considerably with age. Paired with the degenerative impacts of external aggressors such as stress, sunlight and pollution, mother cells slowly see their fundamental function decrease over time.

The Antioxidant Recovery Complex
Skin barrier function is naturally weaker at the beginning of the night, which is why L’Oréal Paris’ exclusive Antioxidant Recovery Complex is so essential to protecting mother cell function during cell division. The complex was derived from bitter orange and strengthening Vitamin E extracts, blended in a sensorial formula, which reinforces the skin barrier.
The Midnight Serum also replenishes the skin’s antioxidant levels, to repair damaged skin functions, protect from external aggressors and correct the active signs of skin ageing. Clinical tests on 106 women aged 40-65 revealed that almost 90% of women said their skin was more hydrated after first use. 88% of women noticed more radiance, while 86% said their skin was more toned and supple after one week of use. After two weeks, 81% of women said their skin was stronger. Finally, after one month, 93% of women said their skin was regenerated, while 96% perceived that their skin quality improved. The Midnight Serum is currently available exclusively in airports in the Middle East, supported by a recent animation with Dubai Duty Free at Dubai International Airport. This will be followed by a European and Americas travel retail roll-out, with a Hainan exclusive launch planned for the end of the year.
