Streets ahead

Read all about it: Lagardère Travel Retail has partnered with Dubai International to open a newspaper-inspired food hall celebrating global cuisine.

Just as a newspaper shares stories from all over the world, The Daily DXB food hall in Terminal 3 presents street food from across the globe. The bespoke concept aims to take travellers on a culinary journey.

In a relaxed, urban garden setting, five food stalls offer dishes such as fried chicken; pizzas, piadinas and pasta; Hawaiian poke; traditional Hong Kong and Asian food; and a grab-and-go selection of pastries.

Apart from the interesting theming and atmosphere, it is the range of attractions that really makes The Daily DXB stand out. There are vocal and dance shows, live pizza tossing demonstrations, and funfair-style additions such as a strength stall and a souvenir photo booth stand.

This video offers a whirlwind tour of the five food stalls: The Roost, The Wok, St. Mia, Wanna Poke and The Market.

Each of the five dining options in The Daily DXB, in Concourse B, are open 24/7. There is a central seating area so everyone can sit together, no matter what they are eating.
