An Australian first

Giorgio Armani’s gorilla has continued his march across global travel retail. The vibrant red statue is a key feature of the brand’s touring Armani Box pop-up store concept, which has most recently stopped at Sydney Airport Terminal 1, in partnership with Heinemann Tax & Duty Free. As part of the activation, Giorgio Armani Beauty has created a bespoke lip shade, Lip Maestro 405 Uri, which is exclusive to passengers departing Sydney Airport T1 for a limited time.

Armani Box is located inside the main Heinemann Tax & Duty Free departures store and features an edited range of the Giorgio Armani make-up collection. Australian actress Cate Blanchett (pictured below, photo: Tom Munro) was named Giorgio Armani Beauty’s first Global Beauty Ambassador earlier this year, representing the brand’s skincare, make-up and fragrance categories.
