A family made over 30 years
To celebrate three decades of The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. (ELC) Travel Retail, we asked several of its long-standing employees, some who have been part of the company since the very early days of its Travel Retail business, what the 30th anniversary means to them.
Their responses tell the story of how travel retail has evolved in the last 30 years. They also underscore how ELC Travel Retail employees have been and continue to be the driving force of the channel’s global success.
“I have grown to be a strong team player, learned the best way of communicating with colleagues and consumers, and provided the best guidance to the Travel Retail team! It is truly a blessing to be able to work surrounded by people who are beautiful, kind, and committed to our core family values. I can't say this enough, I have the very best team I could ever ask for. I am proud to be part of this family.”

I am so proud to be a part of ELC Travel Retail and grateful for the many opportunities I’ve had over the years to develop in my career and take on leadership roles.”

“I had the privilege to join The Estée Lauder Companies 25 years ago as an Estée Lauder Beauty Advisor! My journey started on the shop floor and since then, ELC Travel Retail has given me an incredible opportunity to develop and grow both personally and professionally throughout the years. I have been inspired by great leaders and mentors who believed in me and fully supported my career aspirations.
“Travel Retail has elevated my professional experience, allowing me to work in different countries and regions across many brands within our portfolio. I've also moved between different functions from sales to marketing to education. My career so far is a reflection of something Mrs. Estée Lauder once said, ‘I never dreamed about success. I worked for it.’”

“Inclusion, diversity, and equity (ID&E) are incredibly central to our culture in Travel Retail. To us, it's imperative to create a global community where everyone feels part of the team. Throughout my time at ELC and Travel Retail, which has spanned more than 15 years, I've experienced first-hand how our commitment to promoting and maintaining an inclusive culture and embracing the beauty of belonging makes us better. I'm proud to play a part in this important work as a member of the Culture Pillar for Travel Retail’s ID&E Committee. As we look to the next 30 years, I know shaping everything we do from this perspective will take us far.”
