Single malt for a single airport

How about this for a special release? Pernod Ricard Global Travel Retail has produced just 222 bottles of a limited edition of The Glenlivet available exclusively at Heathrow Airport. The Glenlivet’s American Oak Barrel Single Cask Edition is a Speyside single malt that has been matured for 25 years before being bottled at cask strength without chill-filtration. It is being retailed at £350 (US$461) and is available across Dufry’s World Duty Free and World of Whiskies stores at Heathrow. Each Single Cask Edition is individually numbered and presented in a hand-crafted wooden box.

The launch was timed to coincide with the opening of Dufry’s World Duty Free New Generation Store in Terminal 3, which you can read more about on page 21.

Differentiating the retail experience: “Single cask bottlings offer something unique for our customers," says Dufry.
