Founded and still majority owned by entrepreneur Benny Klepach (The Shilla Duty Free parent company Hotel Shilla is a 44% shareholder), the company formerly known as DFASS (Duty Free Air & Ship Supply) is the world’s leading inflight concessionaire, it has a growing airport business and has established itself as a strong omnichannel player.
3Sixty Duty Free turnover reached just over €600 million we estimate, a solid performance despite the impact of the pandemic.
Through the crisis the company invested in new stores and refurbishments, and focused on better engaging travellers through digitalisation on the ground and in the air.
Highlights included an extended presence at Fort Lauderdale Airport, beginning cruise port operations with ITM Group in the Mexican Caribbean, and recently, striking a ten-year duty free contract at Ontario International in California.
