How The Trinity Forum will #thinkpink

The Moodie Davitt Report and The Trinity Forum hosts, Qatar Airways, Qatar Duty Free and Hamad International Airport, are among the organisations around the world that are supporting the fight against breast cancer this October by turning pink.

Our #thinkpinkTR campaign began in Cannes and will continue in Doha. A pink-themed Opening Cocktail event (in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month) will be held on 30 October at the St. Regis Doha Hotel, with cocktails kindly supplied by Platinum Partner Diageo Global Travel.

The St. Regis pool will be coloured pink for the occasion; while all delegates are being asked to wear at least one pink item and hopefully many more, with special prizes on offer. Diageo will offer Baileys Strawberries & Cream in pink glasses and two of the bars will be pink.

‘Think Pink’ activities at Qatar Airways have included pink giveaways and a series of lectures for staff from the Qatar Cancer Society (QCS) at Hamad International, along with awareness workshops, free mammogram screening by qualified medical staff for all eligible employees, and Charity Bazaar fundraising events at a variety of Qatar Airways locations.

An extra special delivery: All QR95 passengers were treated to Qatar Airways thinkpink wristbands

Ready for a #thinkpink takeoff: A very special flight crew welcomed passengers onto Qatar Airways’ QR95 service earlier this month

The airline also relaunched a refreshed version of its pink BRICs amenity kits, containing products from Italy’s Castello Monte Vibiano Vecchio eco-range, for passengers travelling on ultra-long-haul or long-haul flights in First Class and Business Class.

Qatar Airways underlined its support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month by having an all-female crew operate a flight from Doha to Zürich earlier this month.

Two pilots and the 13-women cabin crew staffed the 9 October QR95 service onboard an Airbus A350-900, one of the most technologically-advanced aircraft in the Qatar Airways fleet.

Qatar Airways Chief Executive Officer His Excellency Akbar Al Baker said: “We are extremely proud to see our all-female crew highlight the importance of Breast Cancer Awareness onboard flight QR95 from Doha to Zürich.

“Awareness and education is everything in the fight against cancer, and Qatar Airways is committed to reinforcing the message of early detection and promotion of a healthy lifestyle to help eradicate this devastating disease.”

Qatar Airways and its sister companies support the battle against breast cancer, with The Trinity Forum in Doha set to further raise awareness
