Mumbai magic

With a brass band flash mob, karaoke and other events and entertainment, consumers were greeted by a hugely engaging shopping festival at Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport in September and early October, through airport operator GVK and its partners.

The month-long event took place across all terminals. Passengers were treated to exclusive shopping deals from a host of different retailers and food & beverage operators. They were also given the chance to win a range of weekly prizes, including an all-expenses paid trip for a couple to Singapore and other air tickets. It is one of a series of events that makes Mumbai, with partners such as Mumbai Duty Free, Travel Food Services and others, a dynamic and often surprising marketplace for travellers.

Mastercard was the main sponsor of the Mumbai Airport Shopping Festival.

A draw ticket from the shopping festival, which featured discounts of up to -50% in participating stores.

Air tickets were offered as prizes, including trips to Bali, London, Istanbul, Cairo and Dubai.
