Introduction
Welcome to a special edition of The Moodie Davitt eZine dedicated to The Moodies Travel Journey Awards, which recognise digital, social media and marketing excellence across the travel retail ecosystem.
The prestigious annual awards embrace the entire travel journey from booking through to end destination, including airlines; airports (including but not confined to shopping and dining); airport advertising and other travel operations.
The winners, announced via an online ceremony (see video on this page) in November, were picked from a top-tier list across 23 highly competitive categories and an eligibility period from 1 August 2022 to 31 July 2023.
The judges sought clear objectives, creative implementation and measurable results in the award categories. Each submission was required to include details such as budget, target audience and overall strategy.
This year’s submissions showcased a deep understanding of consumer needs – and how to engage with them – in the rapidly evolving travel landscape as the impact of the pandemic receded.
The winners demonstrated commitment to enhancing the travel experience through creative and effective omnichannel strategies. The entries, ranging from digital marketing campaigns to integrated solutions, underscored the significant strides our industry has made in digital transformation in recent years.
