It maintained a busy programme of store upgrades and investment. This included the November 2021 opening of the Rio Gallegos Duty Free Zone, in the province of Santa Cruz, as well as the reopening of Duty Free Shop Puerto Iguazú on 1 December after 20 months of closure. After a difficult period for the management team and its employee, the 20-year anniversary of its signature store was rightfully a moment of special celebration for a pioneer of the regional industry.
