As the environment surrounding the cosmetics industry undergoes major changes, KOSÉ Group has set out a medium-to long-term vision titled
“Vision for Lifelong Beauty PartnerーMilestone 2030” designed to advance the business to its next stage of growth.
The vision is centred on the Group’s purpose: Create a culture and values embodying a distinctive beauty through a sophisticated fusion of sensuousness and intelligence.
In pursuit of this purpose, KOSÉ Group has established a new vision: “Your Lifelong Beauty Partner.” The vision has the goal of providing diverse options for beauty to enable people worldwide to discover and enjoy their own beauty throughout their lives. This goal is firmly rooted in KOSÉ Group’s dedication, since its founding, to being a lifelong partner that can use the power of beauty for a better and more beautiful world.
Under its Vision for Lifelong Beauty PartnerーMilestone 2030, the strategy positions KOSÉ Group to strengthen its foundations, accelerate international expansion and evolve into a truly global organisation.
A phased roadmap for long-term growth
The path to achieving this vision consists of three phases:
Phase I – Completion of structural reforms and rebuilding infrastructure
Phase II – Shift to a continuous and sound growth spiral
Phase III – Evolution to become a global company

KOSÉ Holdings Corporation Chairman & Group Chief Executive Officer Kazutoshi Kobayashi says, “The new medium-to long-term vision outlines the KOSÉ Group’s aspirations looking roughly ten years ahead, and presents a roadmap that includes numerical targets for 2030 as a key milestone, along with a medium-term strategy to achieve them.”
He adds, “To realise our medium-to long-term vision, we will first create reliable growth resources by building solid business fundamentals and establishing a prominent position in Japan. Then, we will use the resources to invest for sustainable growth.”
KOSÉ Group’s ambition is to achieve the medium-term strategic objectives and numerical targets established for the 2030 milestone year.
Kobayashi explains: “The goal of the strategy toward the 2030 milestone is to advance structural reforms and rebuild the business foundation to enable a shift to a continuous and sound growth spiral for sustainable corporate growth. The medium-term strategy consists of three growth-oriented components—business strategy, regional strategy, and customer strategy—supported by functional strategy and group strategy.”
