Videos of the Year (I)

We take a look at the most captivating films from travel retail, showcasing the innovation, creativity and people shaping our sector in 2025.

A 25-year journey brought to life at Qatar Duty Free

This anniversary video traces Qatar Duty Free’s evolution from a modest retail operation at Doha International Airport into a major force at Hamad International. It highlights key milestones across the retailer’s first quarter-century – from a 50-person team in 2000 to a portfolio of over 200 retail and dining destinations supported by 4,000 employees representing 84 nationalities.

Visually engaging and concise, the film illustrates how QDF has become one of the industry’s most acclaimed travel retailers, recognised for constant – and often daring – innovation, multiple sector firsts, and a sustained focus on quality rarely matched in the channel.
