Parfums Christian Dior and Lagardère partner for Nice Airport boutique
The opening is being celebrated with a seasonal Dioriviera pop-up at the airport, offering the Maison’s full portfolio spanning fragrance, makeup and skincare.
Parfums Christian Dior has partnered with Lagardère Travel Retail to introduce the Maison’s first airport boutique in the French Riviera at Nice Côte d’Azur Airport. It is set to open at the end of October.
To celebrate the arrival, Parfums Christian Dior and Lagardère are running a seasonal Dioriviera pop-up at the airport until October.
The installation, which takes inspiration from the region’s Mediterranean summer, sets the stage for the forthcoming permanent boutique. The pop-up offers Parfums Christian Dior’s full portfolio spanning fragrance, makeup and skincare. A highlight is the Nice Airport debut of La Collection Privée.
The store, designed in line with Dior’s latest New Look retail concept, aims to deliver a distinct, immersive shopping experience for international travellers.
“The strategic partnership between Nice Airport, Lagardère Travel Retail and Parfums Christian Dior exemplifies a powerful synergy in the travel retail landscape,” commented Parfums Christian Dior Managing Director Travel Retail Europe Paul Boissonnet.
“Nice Airport’s commitment to enhancing passenger experience and fostering a premium retail environment, dovetails seamlessly with Lagardere’s expertise on accelerating business growth through innovative partnerships and optimised retail operations.
“This collaboration further amplifies with our strategic pivot towards a direct-to-consumer model at Dior, allowing us to cultivate deeper, more personalised relationships with our clientele within a sophisticated and captive environment. We are thrilled to bring the world of Dior to travellers at Nice Airport and offer them a taste of the French Riviera lifestyle.”

Dior’s love affair with the French Riviera
The airport opening marks an important expansion of the Maison’s presence in the region, one deeply tied to the history of Christian Dior. The French Riviera has long been a source of inspiration for the Maison, dating back to 1950 when Christian Dior acquired the Château de la Colle Noire in Montauroux. The estate became a sanctuary for the designer, who created expansive gardens and transformed the property into his own personal retreat.
Dior’s history with the French Riviera continued in 2006 through its partnership with Domaine de Manon, which ensured the cultivation of key fragrance ingredients Rose de Mai, Rose Centifolia and Jasmine Grandiflorum for exclusive use in Dior fragrances.
The collaboration safeguards the region’s traditional flower-growing expertise while underscoring the Maison’s commitment to craftsmanship and authenticity.
