JCDecaux Transport – Hong Kong International Airport – The Nature Conservancy Global Photo Contest
JCDecaux Transport’s partnership with The Nature Conservancy (TNC) for its Global Photo Contest at Hong Kong International Airport captured the essence of environmental conservation and creative engagement. Running through April 2024, the exhibition featured wildlife photography from TNC’s annual photography contest, inviting international passengers to reflect on the beauty and fragility of nature.
The campaign’s key objectives included raising awareness about conservation efforts, promoting TNC’s projects and inspiring action towards environmental protection. An interactive ‘Voice for Nature’ postcard booth allowed visitors to record personal messages. Special activities such as Earth Day celebrations and fundraising efforts created a tangible connection between the airport audience and TNC’s mission.
Through the exhibition, JCDecaux Transport showcased the environmental work TNC has done locally, including its collaboration with the Airport Authority Hong Kong on the ecological restoration of the third runway. Another key highlight was TNC’s partnership with the University of Hong Kong for ecological restoration projects, such as introducing oysters to promote seawall restoration.
