The Trinity Forum – Introduction
Themes of Trinity 2024 – Inspiring innovation, reinforcing relevance and capturing consumer attention
We carry highlights of the world’s leading airport commercial revenues conference, which took place in Ho Chi Minh City on 5-6 November.

Ho Chi Minh City played host to one of the great editions of The Trinity Forum on 5-6 November, an event that turned the spotlight on our sector’s continued relevance to a fast-changing consumer audience and to future-proofing the business in the face of disruption and intense multi-channel competition.
This year’s Forum was hosted with warmth and style by Airports Corporation of Vietnam and Imex Pan Pacific Group, and organised by The Moodie Davitt Report in association with Airports Council International (ACI) Asia-Pacific and Middle East and ACI World.
Among the central themes was how the world of airport commercial activities faces up to the pace of change in the consumer landscape; how the next decade will evolve; what the increasing convergence of business channels will deliver; and the types of partnerships that will help define the industry.

Trinity 2024 was also a showcase for elevated airport experiences, as evocatively displayed by a series of exhilirating case studies from Hamad International to Heathrow and from Riyadh to Kuala Lumpur to Denver and many more.
Reflecting on the principles underpinning the event, The Moodie Davitt Report Founder & Chairman Martin Moodie said: “When we created The Trinity Forum in 2003 we had a dual mission. On the one hand to foster enhanced mutual understanding between sector stakeholders in order to serve the travelling consumer better and to grow the collective pie.
“On the other, to challenge the status quo in our industry, rejecting bad practice and championing the good.”

ACI World Director General Justin Erbacci outlined the big picture for non-aeronautical activities at global airports

ACI Asia-Pacific and Middle East Director General Stefano Baronci on the pace of passenger traffic recovery
In their opening remarks, ACI World Director General Justin Erbacci and ACI Asia-Pacific & Middle East Director General Stefano Baronci assessed the outlook for passenger traffic and the key role of commercial revenues in supporting the next wave of travel growth.

Our first video above captures highlight moments from a memorable event. The other video on this page, produced by Moodie Davitt STUDIO and shown at the opening of Trinity 2024, illustrates how key stakeholders view progress and how they see the priorities – to be consumer-centric, to be brave in nurturing new kinds of relationships – to ensure an even better collective future.
