A quickfire day one session about driving synergies between commercial within airport groups featured Fraport Bulgaria Head of Commercial Svetlana Simeonova and Vantage Airport Group VP Commercial Sammy Patel, with the discussion led by ACI World VP Events & Commercial Services Pierre Charbonneau.

Simeonova and Patel assessed how being part of larger airport groups benefits individual locations via synergies and lessons learned elsewhere. They also took a fascinating dive into how they can engage with the traveller base in one location in a specific way but use a global lens to do so – and discussed how to manage concessions, transfer best practice and share technology and insights across airports.
