Riyadh Airports and SSP unveil quality quartet food court

SSP Group has partnered with Riyadh Airports to open an 840sq m food court at King Khalid International Airport (KKIA) Terminal 3.

The 200-seat area, named ‘Food Garden’, features four restaurant brands: Burger King, KFC, Crêpe Affaire and Mezza w mashawi.

Burger King and KFC are offering their signature burgers and fried chicken, respectively, while Crêpe Affaire serves sweet and savoury crêpes.

Bahrain restaurant brand Mezza w mashawi brings a Middle East flavour to the Food Garden

Mezza w mashawi is a restaurant brand sourced by SSP from Bahrain. Its staple offer is mezze, a selection of small dishes served as appetisers or tapas in Arabic cuisine. These can be hot or cold and include dips, salads, vegetables and seafood.

The venue also serves grilled meats including shish taouk (skewered chicken), kafta (ground lamb or beef) and kebabs.

Comment: The latest food & beverage openings are well timed, amid a period of record-breaking passenger numbers and commercial growth at KKIA.

Riyadh Airports has consistently underlined its determination to provide a broader array of world-class services to guests, an aspiration cemented by recent contract agreements with SSP and Lagardère Travel Retail in dining. Watch out for further big F&B openings to follow in coming months.
