‘Ignite your Senses’ – DFS curates record collection ever for Masters of Wines and Spirits 2024 edition
This year’s collection showcases the most extensive collection in the event’s history, featuring more than 200 rare and exclusive wines, Champagne, whiskies, Cognac and more, curated from over 100 renowned houses.
DFS Group has rolled out Masters of Wines and Spirits 2024, the latest edition of its acclaimed global showcasing of rare, luxury and often exclusive wines and spirits.
For the first time, the luxury travel retailer is taking the event to multiple locations, including a premiere showing outside Asia (Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York JFK airports).
Masters of Wines and Spirits 2024, themed ‘Ignite Your Senses’, is the 12th edition of what DFS called an expression of its unwavering commitment to curating extensive yet best-in-class luxury experiences for customers across the globe.

This year’s edition showcases the most extensive collection in the history of Master of Wines and Spirits, featuring over 200 rare and exclusive wines, Champagne, whiskies, Cognac and more, curated from over 100 renowned houses.
The line-up includes a selection of rare cellar and distillery releases, one-of-a-kind bottles that have been numbered and signed, and exclusive collections created only for DFS.

Masters of Wines and Spirits 2024 kicked off in style with a gala event in Los Angeles, US, on 27 April.
This was followed by a themed in-store exhibition launched at Los Angeles International Airport Tom Bradley International Terminal on 1 May, which offers travellers the chance to discover a curated selection of new favourites and cherished classics.
In-store exhibitions with DFS at San Francisco International Airport and John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York will open imminently.
In Macau, where the event is being held for the third consecutive year, Masters of Wines and Spirits will offer travellers a chance to view some of what the retailer called its “extraordinary curation” at T Galleria by DFS, Macau, City of Dreams, running from now until the end of June.
Additionally, exclusive media (including The Moodie Davitt Report) and VIP guests will experience food and wine-pairing dinners with a series of masterclasses, and a gala event on 24-25 May.
The Macau event will feature a series of expert-led VIP masterclasses featuring some outstanding wines and spirits. They include Ao Yun, the ultra-premium Moët Hennessy-owned winery produced in northern Yunnan province in the foothills of the Himalayas, not far from the legendary city of Shangri-La.



Outstanding single malt Scotch whiskies from Bladnoch, Glenmorangie and The Macallan will also feature.
The Los Angeles masterclass events features Glenmorangie, The Macallan, Tomatin, Royal Salute, Sazerac and Napa Valley, California winery Shafer. Attendees will not only celebrate the legacy these brands represent, but explore how such brands can stay relevant into the future.



Something for the connoisseur
DFS will introduce fine and rare collectible whiskies to this year’s Masters of Wines and Spirits, including Glenmorangie Pommard Cask Finish 25 Year Old; The Macallan – The Golden Age of Travel: The Motor Car; Tomatin Highland Scotch Single Malt Aged 50 Year; Royal Salute The Age Collection II; and Shafer Hillside Select Cabernet Sauvignon Collection”.
DFS also unveiled an enhancement to its Single Cask selection. Masters of Wines and Spirits 2024 will showcase a curated assortment of single cask whiskies from Scotland, Japan, Australia and American distilleries, representing what the travel retail dubbed “the pinnacle of whisky collectability.
Collaboration drives experience
By leveraging its partnerships with City of Dreams Macau and Empress Company (American Express’s joint venture in China), DFS said it continues to solidify its leadership position in Macau’s luxury market.
