Diageo Global Travel leaps into the Year of the Rabbit
Diageo Global Travel ran a series of high-impact digital activations throughout key travel retail locations in Asia Pacific to celebrate Lunar New Year 2023. The campaign featured beautiful imagery, vivid visual advertising and immersive digital experiences. Pictured in this video excerpt is the Johnnie Walker ‘Year of the Rabbit’ campaign at Incheon International Airport.
“Probably the world’s biggest welcome ever”
The Hong Kong government revealed in early February that it would be giving away 500,000 airline tickets as part of the HK$2 billion (US$255 million) ‘Hello Hong Kong’ campaign aimed at boosting local tourism as borders reopened. The giveaway memorably extended to all Trinity Forum delegates later in the year, courtesy of Hong Kong International Airport.
An outstanding commercial arena takes shape in Zanzibar
In February Emirates Leisure Retail (ELR) and Maritime and Mercantile International (MMI) celebrated the unveiling of their master concession at Zanzibar Abeid Amani Karume International Airport Terminal 3, covering food & beverage, duty free and other commercial activities. The new-look environment and atmosphere was neatly captured in this evocative video.
‘Joy on your way’
Irish travel retailer ARI launched its new corporate and consumer-facing brand identity, including an updated logo and brand expression, ‘Joy On Your Way’, in February. Launched with colour and pizzazz, the company said it demonstrates “a unique brand proposition that has not been seen before in the industry, harnessing the power of human connection across all aspects of the business”.
