Leading the way

King Power Group (Hong Kong) Group Chief Executive Officer Sunil Tuli has had a distinguished career in travel retail. Starting in 1984 at the India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC), he has also served at Swiss duty free group Weitnauer (now Dufry) and as Asia Pacific Travel Retail Association (APTRA) president.

Tuli is known as a strong leader, and that was confirmed at the Global MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Exhibitions) and Luxury Travel Congress Awards recently. He was recognised as being among the industry’s ‘Most Influential Leaders’ at the event in the Taj Lands End hotel in Mumbai, India – a prestigious accolade.

Tuli said he was “delighted and honoured” to be presented with the award, which recognises his service to the industry.
